Kazmi & Jan (1997): the 'Landa Member' (Kummel 1966) is the lower part of the Middle Triassic Tredian Formation — 19–29 m of nonmarine variegated micaceous sandstone with ripple marks and slump structures interbedded with shale, above the Mianwali Formation and below the Khatkiara Member. (The book treats it as a member of the Tredian Formation.)

Hemphill & Kidwai (1973, USGS PP 716-B), Spinnagara Nala: the basal Tredian (Landa) Member is ~115 ft of fine greenish-grey sandstone, siltstone and shale with common plant fossils (and brachiopods near the top); the plant fragments (Sitholey 1943) suggest possible nonmarine deposition within the otherwise shallow-marine Triassic.
