Comprehensive review of the Kohistan intra-oceanic-arc-to-Andean-margin: Chalt Volcanic Group (northernmost Kohistan-wide conformable unit, ~330 km E-W x 30 km, high-Mg tholeiites), Jaglot/Yasin Groups, Kamila Amphibolites, Kohistan batholith (three magmatic stages), Shamran/Teru and Dir volcanic-sedimentary units, Chilas Complex, Jijal-Kamila arc root.
This page is the reverse of each unit's per-field citations — it shows exactly what this reference supports, making the dataset's “no source, no fact” rule browsable both ways.

- Lithology: Petterson (2010): the Chalt Volcanic Group is the northernmost Kohistan-wide conformable unit (~330 km E-W by up to 30 km N-S), a high-Mg tholeiitic (with boninitic affinity) lava-dominated intra-oceanic-arc pile intruded to the south by the Kohistan batholith; Petterson & Windley (1985) characterise the Chalt volcanics as basaltic tholeiites. Primary sources for the CVG lithology and tectonic setting.

- Age: Petterson (2010): the Shamran (Shamran/Teru) Volcanic Group is a post-suturing, highly evolved calc-alkaline volcanic-sedimentary unit of the Kohistan arc, younger than the intra-oceanic Chalt Volcanic Group. Primary review source for the Shamran/Teru succession.
