Synthesis of the Baltoro granite batholith and Karakoram Metamorphic Complex. Post-collisional crustal-melt biotite-muscovite-garnet leucogranites; U-Pb leucogranite ages from Trango Towers, Cathedral and Paiyu peaks range ~21-13 Ma. Used for Baltoro Granite lithology (leucogranite) and Miocene collisional-melt setting.
This page is the reverse of each unit's per-field citations — it shows exactly what this reference supports, making the dataset's “no source, no fact” rule browsable both ways.

- Age: U-Pb dating shows the Baltoro granite batholith was assembled over c. 26.4-13 Ma as a suite of biotite-muscovite-garnet leucogranites (Trango Towers, Cathedral, K2-Gasherbrum), a long-lived Miocene crustal-melt event (Searle et al. 2010).
