FULL TEXT REVIEWED (reviewer-supplied PDF; open-access CC-BY, doi:10.3390/min15080789). Sedimentology + geochemistry of the Lower Cambrian Khewra Sandstone, the lowermost unit of the Cambrian Jhelum Group, at its Khewra Gorge type locality (eastern Salt Range). Deposited in fluvial-deltaic settings with fluvial and tidal processes under an overall arid to semi-arid palaeoclimate with poor-to-moderate chemical weathering (average CIA ~62); felsic continental-block provenance. Disconformable contact with the overlying Kussak Formation.
This page is the reverse of each unit's per-field citations — it shows exactly what this reference supports, making the dataset's “no source, no fact” rule browsable both ways.

- Upper contact (underlies): Qanit et al. (2025): the Khewra Sandstone has a disconformable contact with the overlying Kussak Formation. Corroborates the recorded upper contact.
