Microfacies analysis (60 thin sections, 80 samples) of the Late Triassic Kingriali Formation at Nammal Gorge (32.6667, 71.8000) and Gulakhel (32.9667, 71.2000), Trans-Indus. Eleven microfacies (dolosparites, dolomicrites, oncolitic/oolitic/bio-sparites) grouped into four facies units, recording a shallow-marine carbonate platform passing up to intertidal/tidal-flat with restricted hypersaline bays. Gives the published type-locality coordinate: Kingriali Peak (32°14′N, 71°02′E), Khisor Range, District Dera Ismail Khan.
This page is the reverse of each unit's per-field citations — it shows exactly what this reference supports, making the dataset's “no source, no fact” rule browsable both ways.

- Coordinates: Type-locality coordinate corrected from the low-confidence Salt Range gazetteer point (32.72, 71.45) to the published type locality Kingriali Peak (32°14′N, 71°02′E = 32.2333, 71.0333) in the Khisor Range, District Dera Ismail Khan (Mensink et al., 1985), consistent with the Khisor Range type-locality correction already recorded from Hemphill & Kidwai (1973) and Shah (2009). Measured study sections lie at Nammal Gorge (32.6667, 71.8000) and Gulakhel (32.9667, 71.2000).
- Depositional environment: Microfacies reconnaissance (Mensink et al., 1985): 11 microfacies (dolosparites, dolomicrites and calcitic onco-/oo-/bio-sparites) in four facies units record a shallow-marine carbonate platform passing upward to intertidal/tidal-flat conditions with restricted, occasionally hypersaline bays (birds-eye structures, mudcracks, pseudomorphs after gypsum, algal laminations); clastic input is confined to the basal meters near a nearby shoreline.
