Full text (user-supplied PDF). Malkani-corpus (single principal author) geology + mineral-resource + vertebrate-paleontology account of the Northern Koh Sulaiman foldbelt, Shirani, and North/South Waziristan. NOT independent of the other Malkani compilations. Used for Northern-Sulaiman/Waziristan lithostratigraphic gap-fill and distinctive fossil content (e.g. new Miocene Tomistominae false gharial from Sakhi Sarwar; Late Cretaceous archosaur trackways Sauropaonia/Ornithopaonia/Pteropaonia) recorded as attributed revisionNotes; synonymies not adopted where better biostratigraphy exists.
This page is the reverse of each unit's per-field citations — it shows exactly what this reference supports, making the dataset's “no source, no fact” rule browsable both ways.

- Fossils: Malkani et al. (2022): the Oligocene Chitarwata Formation of the Sulaiman/Vihowa Group is reported to yield the large land rhinocerotoid Buzdartherium gulkirao ('largest land rhinoceros') and, from the Gulki area, the eusuchian crocodile Asifcroco retrai. Attributed Malkani-corpus taxa (the earlier 'largest land mammal' phrasing conflated this with Baluchitherium, which these papers do not name); recorded as notes, not added to the curated fossil list.

- Fossils: Malkani et al. (2022, OJG 12:521-564): the friable greenish-grey sandstone of the Litra Formation in the Sakhi Sarwar area (Dera Ghazi Khan, South Punjab) yielded the new Miocene tomistomine 'false gharial' Sakhibaghoon khizari (Gavialidae/Tomistominae) — reported as the first tomistomine from Indo-Pakistan (a mid-rostrum: premaxillae, maxillae, heterodont teeth, elongate nasal) — and, near Mahoi, the proboscidean Gomphotherium buzdari. NOTE: these are Malkani-corpus taxa; the identifications are attributed, not independently corroborated.
-
- Geological significance: Malkani et al. (2022): in North and South Waziristan the Late-Cretaceous Mughal Kot-equivalent is named the Shinkai Post Formation — red and green shale with lithographic limestone and marl. Recorded as a Waziristan local-name equivalent (Malkani corpus); not adopted as a separate unit here.

- Geological significance: Malkani et al. (2022): in North and South Waziristan the Early-Cretaceous Sembar-equivalent is named the Ahni Tangi Formation — green and red shales carrying large olistostrome blocks (olistoliths). Recorded as a Waziristan local-name equivalent (Malkani corpus); not adopted as a separate unit here.
