Reviewer-supplied. Magnetic-polarity stratigraphy of the Upper Siwalik (Pinjor-age) sediments of the Bhittani Range; the Bain Pass section spans middle Gauss to uppermost Brunhes with the Jaramillo, Olduvai and Reunion subchrons, constraining Upper Siwalik sedimentation rates and the timing of Bhittani folding.
This page is the reverse of each unit's per-field citations — it shows exactly what this reference supports, making the dataset's “no source, no fact” rule browsable both ways.

- Age: Nomenclature (Javed Khan & Opdyke 1981): Hemphill & Kidwai (1973) proposed extending 'Dhok Pathan Formation' to the Trans-Indus Sheri Gasha Formation, but this is rejected — the Sheri Gasha is Plio-Pleistocene, not the middle–late Miocene Dhok Pathan type section. The curated age of the Dhok Pathan type section is unaffected.
