A plate-reconstruction essay that, along the way, reassigns the Tanakki Conglomerate (basal Abbottabad Formation, Hazara) and the Himalayan Blaini boulder beds from Permo-Carboniferous to Late Precambrian-Cambrian, interpreting them as Late Precambrian glacial (tillite) deposits overlain by Cambrian-fossil-bearing beds (Latif 1972; Rushton 1973); the Salt Range Talchir boulder bed is cited as the only bona-fide Permo-Carboniferous tillite.
This page is the reverse of each unit's per-field citations — it shows exactly what this reference supports, making the dataset's “no source, no fact” rule browsable both ways.

- Geological significance: Bhatti (1989): the basal Tanakki Conglomerate member of the Abbottabad Formation is reinterpreted as Late Precambrian to Cambrian in age and of glacial (tillite) origin - not the Permo-Carboniferous once inferred by lithological correlation with the Salt Range Talchir - with overlying beds yielding Cambrian fossils (Latif 1972; Rushton 1973). Recorded as an age/origin interpretation for the Tanakki member.
