Petrography and biostratigraphy of the Nisai Formation (1027 m; Nummulites perforatus, Alveolina, Assilina granulosa, Discocyclina dispensa, N. fichteli), Murgha Faqirzai Member (1200 m; N. fichteli/intermedius/perforatus, Lepidocyclina dilatata) and Shaigalu Member (3000 m; mollusc/gastropod bioclasts) in the Multanai block, NE Pishin Basin. Shaigalu = Miocene deltaic-plain/fluvial, correlated with the Murree Formation (Shah 1977).
This page is the reverse of each unit's per-field citations — it shows exactly what this reference supports, making the dataset's “no source, no fact” rule browsable both ways.

- Fossils: Ashraf et al. (2010) and Hunting Survey Corporation (1960): the member yields Oligocene foraminifera (Nummulites fichteli — a diagnostic Oligocene index — with N. intermedius and Lepidocyclina dilatata) plus molluscs and echinoids, while Nummulites perforatus in the lower beds indicates an Eocene age for the base; greenish-grey calcareous/arenaceous shale with turbidite and prodelta sandstone.
