Metamorphic-petrology study (full text reviewed) of the Alpurai Group metasediments (Saidu, Kashala, Marghazar schists) of the Lower Swat-Malakand area: documents a south-to-north increasing Barrovian gradient from greenschist facies (Takht-e-Bhai/Rustam; ~300-400 C, <=3 kb) to epidote-amphibolite facies (Mora Kandao/Malakand; ~580 C, ~5.5 kb). Used for metamorphic-character enrichment only, not stratigraphic (age/thickness/contacts).
This page is the reverse of each unit's per-field citations — it shows exactly what this reference supports, making the dataset's “no source, no fact” rule browsable both ways.

- Geological significance: The Alpurai Group metasediments record a south-to-north increasing Barrovian metamorphic gradient (Ahmad, Jan & Jehan 2005): greenschist facies (biotite grade; ~300-400 C, <=3 kb) around Takht-e-Bhai and Rustam in the south, rising to epidote-amphibolite facies (garnet-kyanite grade; ~580 C, ~5.5 kb) near Mora Kandao / Malakand in the north.
